It's just that my experience is that every time I have tried an upgrade it has ended up with me having to wipe it and do a clean install. My clean install on the laptop took 20 minutes to install the software and another 15-20 minutes to get everything configured. I've never known an install to be as quick or as easy, and everything is working - except that I haven't tried to get the modem working as I don't need it, so I don't know what the chances are. > Let me know how your installation process end up. I'm absolutely delighted. 40 minutes to a perfect install. I spent 4 days on an XP box last week to get to the same stage. Even when I tried the update on the laptop it took 2 hours, and things didn't work very well. Others report good experiences with upgrades, so this is just my £0.02.
