IP Cop will run on USB drives (pen) too, but you only have a limited number of read/write cycles possible on these, so you'd not be able to use the transparent cache, the caching DNS, the logs, or the intrusion detection, without going over the number or R/W cycles fairly quickly for reliable operation. Without the caching, DNS caching, logging, and IDS it'd be fine, but for dial-up you need the caching to get the overall look-and-feel speed up by serving up unchanging stuff from the local firewall cache. That's what speeds up the experience.

And it really does make a big difference.

As for a GUI, I enjoy this. You can do so much with it, so easily.
