Ouch. That is about like running Windows 95. I never ran that version of
Mandrake - 9.2 was the first version of Mandrake I ran. You should
really try to get a newer version, as you will not even find security
updates for that one. You will also run into problems with a lot of the
newer hardware not being supported. I don't think that USB support was
all that good in 8.2, but I could be wrong.
