If I recall correctly, Thunderbird follows the Gnome scheme, so you
should use Gnome-control-center to set the path to the new OO2 there.

I haven't got gnome, but looked in kcontrol, which is where I think it
probably is (the place to alter the link), but couldn't figure it out.
