I have a multimedia keyboard running fine under multiple Linux distributions. Now, it's plugged on a FC4 machine, but I used it on a Ubuntu and on a Mandriva 2005 LE machine... What I can say, on all those distributions, I have to configure the keyboard the same way...
In KDE, go to control center (the one from KDE) -> Regional & accessibility -> keyboard Shortcuts Then, configure the keys for what you need! BTW, my keyboard is a Micro$oft Natural Pro (you know, the weavy one?). Some of the keys (back, forward, stop, refresh, search and favorites) aren't usable (don't know why), but all other keys are ok, even the sleep button! -- +-----------------------------------------------------------+ Albert Charron, B.Sc.
