Okay
Found the problem.... But how do I fix it?
Problem:
The led stays on after the ICH6R controller gets detected. Okay so disable
ICH6R.
Hard drive led behaves.... But as you guessed no longer have sda1 sdb1
sdc1 sdd1 drives. This is a problem.
Do I need another ICH6R driver? It is a 915PE chipset.
If I do where do I find it?
I will start googling but will appreciate any help from you guys

also let it run for 1/2 an hour, then check it. it may be doing
maintenance like indexing files, cleaning up temp files, etc. not all
the boot up stuff runs before you login, there may still be a few things
going on...
