Okay, I do not know why, but everything is working properly now. I am in the new kernel without strange colors, the mouse is tamed, and all is well.
The last question and then I will lurk in peace for awhile. Now I upgraded to Club 06. What sources do I use to update. I have scoured Club without an answer. Strange, heh?
