I had the same problem (and a local printer). Given that cups seemed to be the culprit i thought that upgrading this could help - and indeed it did!. There where no new versions for 2006.0 - so i downloaded cups-1.2.0-0.4964.1mdk.src from cooker and recompiled and installed it on my 2006 system. This has solved the problem completely. If you want to do the same - I took the src.rpm from ftp://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/os/Linux/distr/Mandrakelinux/devel/cooker/SRPMS/main/ If you trust me: i put my rpm's on this address (note the serial rpm was not installed on my system): http://www.xs4all.nl/~orcl0307/mandriva2006/cups/ Peter ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
