Yep, grabbed it, ran it on my PC with both a DVD-RW and DVD-Rom with no probs, likewise with my ageing laptop with only one CD-Rom. Then installed it on both machines, no probs.... but beware - I seem to recall (but apologies if memory has failed me) reading somewhere that the installer is inclined to use the entire disk and overwrite existing partitions - not a problem in my case as it is exactly what I wanted. Then just to be adventurous, on the new installation which is a seperate HD in another caddy a caddy, I had a play with Mandriva Kiosk and upgraded to Kde 3.5, OO 2.0 and Firefox (whatever the latest relese is). Then I used the mcc backup utility and backed up from my "proper" 2006 installation and restored it to Mandriva One (upgraded with Kde 3.5) and it worked without probs. You may have gathered by now, I'm quite impressed with it :-)) ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
