Thank you, Ron, Neill and John, for your help in solving my problem of
an hour's difference between Linux clocks and XP clock.

With your help, I've solved it!

I have set my BIOS clock to Local Time. Then I set my three linux
distros to the clock not being set to UTC.

The most difficult was in Ubuntu, which I am trying out. I keep on
experimenting with different distros (apart from Mandriva and
PCLinuxOS, which are permanent). It's a failing of mine! Ubuntu
needed the /etc/default/rcS file edited to read UTC=no.

I have deselected Recognise Summer Time in XP.

They are all now telling the same time.

Many thanks again for your help. I really do appreciate it.

Cheers

Keith
