Hi Lee,
Sounds like after the burning your cd was not fixated (or not fixate
well). Did you tick the option "do not fixate after burning" out there?
Once I did have a similar situation using xcdroast although I had every
right choice.
K3B looks better to this respect. Once when I burned a music cd, it said
that the fixation failed, but eventually the cd could be played except
the last half of the last song.
