Just tried to install the latest NVIDIA driver and got the mismatched
kernel ~ kernel-source stuff.
So went looking for a suitable kernel and kernel-source combo.
Running Mandriva10.2 with kernel(2.6.12-10mdk-i586-up-1GB) at present
but that's not essential.
Just cannot seem to get a matching set from online.
Recommendations anyone ?
Preferably for the most suitable kernel (including kernel-source) for
this system.
( Includes a GeForce FX 5200 card that I need running for some 3D
modeling programs.)
PIII Coppermine 733MHz 512RAM
I can see that the latest stable kernel appears to be 2.6.12-16 but then
I cannot find the source file to go with it ????
