mount hda1" would unmount hda1 (without the quotemarks of course)
note only 1 "n" in umount

 
Here's why I asked:

umount: hdc5: not found

AFAIK hdc5 is not in use, either.

On mine I need to type in the full path (ie. /dev/hd....)

What is the result of typing in mount by itself?
