In the kmail settings, go to your accounts and modify them to "remember password". If a kwallet widget pops up next time you start kmail/kontact do NOT "cancel" it but eneter a passwrd and keep on using it. Otherwise you will need to change those settings again and again. My kids needed to be trained to NOT do that. It's opposed to what I always told 'em: "If you don't understand it, hit <cancel> and nothing will be changed!". Kmail just changed all the rules. :-p It's PIA but apparently youre forced to use kwallet or keep on entering your passwrd on every new session.....or use another mail-agent.
