Hi there. I am a totally newbie in Mandriva and Linux affairs. I´m migrating from MS-Windows to Mandriva Linux Powerpack 2007 and have a lot of headaches with drivers. However I consider that as part of the learning curve.
I have a Benq 5000 flatbed scanner, but Mandriva recognize it as a Acer FlatBedScanner22. I had tried to change the configuration to Benq 5000 (Mandriva has it in it´s scanners list) but untill now I only have gotten frustation. I had also looked for an answer in Mandriva Forum but I have not found anything usefull. Any ideas? In my case step by step help will be necesary. Thanks in advance.
