Hey all, I'm trying to re-compile X after a system crash as just installing it from packages seems to give me errors. However, I am again, getting the error:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lz collect2: ld returned 1 exit status I have had this before and I had to upgrade my kernel to the latest version, which I have done. My binutils and libc6 are also up-to-date.
