[Newbie]Problems with ACER 621 LV and Debian

Hi, I got a problem running my xfree. It only runs with 1280*1024 instead of 1400*1050 pixles. Also my touchpad doesn't function in x. Please tell me how to edit my configs! ( I used the latest Xfree) THX, Dennis
