Hi I am having difficulty with persuading XFree to configure on this system from THE "out of the Box" freeBSD 4..5 CD configuration tool.
Everything goes fine until the configuration attempts to start the server. The graphical interface for configuraing mouse/keyboard/card etc works fine. An attempt to start the server results in a a screen scattered with artifacts and/or two blue colored horizontal bands across the monitor. The system appears to crash. All advice gratefully appreciated.
