Hello XF86 list I have an old laptop machine that takes 50 secs to startx Xf86 4.1.0. Is there any way to speed this up a bit. The machine starts in run-level 2 (RedHat 7.2 dist), has 256 M RAM and a 200 MHz Pentium MMX.
