Hi, I'am looking for a way to change the standard background of X (black and white little stripes) which is shown at the very beginning *before* I can change it with xsetroot -solid black. There is always a period of time in which I see these background which also causes flicker on my LCD. Is there a way to change it right at the starting of X? Would be great! Thank You Felix
