Is a dedicated host computer really necessary? Please help. We just bought FMP 5.0 (Finally! Yay!) Our IT guys are talking about installing it on my computer today! My question is do we really need a dedicated host computer that does NOTHING else but host ebase? That seems incredibly inefficient. We have a LAN, but I have a separate, dedicated drive (U:) for the Development office (me) that other computers do NOT have access to. Currently, I'm the only one with e-base, but the intent is for the Secretary and I to both have access to the e-base/FMP set up (but ONLY the two of us.) Can this be done without a host computer???? Your response (especially a quick one) is greatly appreciated. Dee Christoff Director of Development Washington Poison Center [EMAIL PROTECTED]
