Hi Glynne,

I would recommend Server, if more than 2-3 people are planning to use Ebase
at the same time. Right now Filemaker is running a special where you can
get Server for Free ($749 value) if you buy 10 licenses of Filemaker for
your workstations.

I'm located in DC as well and would be happy to answer any other questions
you have about Ebase. I work for an organization in DC that does computer
consulting for non-profits.

Feel free to contact me.

Subject: [NEWBIES] FileMaker Server or Pro 5.0?

We'd like to install ebase on an intranet of six users. Several users might
be working on the same file at the same time. To avoid data corruption, do
you recommend that we install FileMaker Server 5.0 or Pro 5.0?

Thanks so much!
