[NEWBIES] Enter password twice?

Hello,
Since the fiasco of several days ago, I have been able to re-install ebase and 
hopefully re-associate it successfully with FMP 5.0. However, I'm now having another 
curious problem. When I start it up, it asks me for a password for the "names" file 
and then again for the "setup" file. I know I shouldn't have to enter my password 
twice so something odd must be going on. Suggestions?
