Yesterday I asked how to make a customized chart for output. Well I was
able to do it by going to layout mode and then choosing New Layout/Report.
I created the report under the wizard and ran into two odd problems.
1) I want to list the donor type (ie patron, major donor, ect) and on the
newly created chart I put in the field "Find Donor Type" which was the only
field I saw that included the words "donor type" and under this heading on
the chart some records included the donor type in the field and some did
not (all our records have donor types associated with them). If I put in
the wrong field to show this info, what is the right field? If this is not
the problem what the heck is going on?
2) When I tried to print from the new report; I went back to the report and
tried printing in both "preview mode" and "browse mode". Both times it
just printed the following info:
R-List of Names (ind)
Allow User Abort [Off]
Go to Layout [R-name List (ind)]
Print Setup [Restore setup options, No dialog]
Enter Preview Mode [Pause]
Perform Script ["918b - Print Found Landscape"] [Sub-scripts]
Go to Layout [R-List of Names Options]
Enter Browse Mode
Allow User Abort
Does anyone know what is going on?
