Hi, the OSM user ComputerTeddy generously provides a gmapsupp.img file that covers Germany for use in Garmin devices. The file is produced with mkgmap. Is there a way to update the file with new data in the area where I do some mapping?
I am about to try mkgmap on gmapsupp.img and some fresh osm-data, but I have no idea whether this will produce any sensible result. Does anyone have more insight into this?
