Hi, Martijn

In my case, we want to minimize internet traffic as much as possible,
so binary protocol will be best solution for us. I tried to use tiles in
the other project (Google Maps, as a test case) and it was very
sensitive for bandwidth and hard drive. For example, a small city
at all details level can occupy more than 2 GB of disk space.
BTW, vector data is also needed for routing.
