The Test Way and Wayfarers Walk have already been tagged using relations. Both start at the car park shown here: http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=51.35650&lon=-1.46964&zoom=16 The relation tags are: type=route network=uk_ldp route=hiking name=Test Way However as already said the renderers currently make little use of relations. The longer footpath sections of the Test Way have also been tagged with a non-relation "name=Test Way" so that the name appears on the Slippy Map (this can easily be removed later).
