I agree this is a local problem Here is what i found so far a) problem exists in - ubuntu/firefox - ubuntu/ephiphnay - xp / firefox - xp / chrome b) problem doest exist or is reduced for - ubuntu/opera c) wget http://c.tile.openstreetmap.org/8/145/78.png succeeds in 0.07 seconds wierd huh I think c) and similar tests means there is no firewall problem in ubuntu/firefox the following had no effect mv /home/me/.mozilla /home/me/.mozillabackup oh well my current workaround is use opera for all OSM stuff JW _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
