I have not used the N95, instead I have used Nokia E71 with its inbuilt GPS 
with the "Assisted GPS" system, which gets better/speedier satellite fix and is 
more accurate in usage. I have used it well over 200 times to track my running, 
and for a month or so for creating tracks for OSM. With the A-GPS on, I can 
keep the device in my pocket and still get proper readings in the low-built 
(=not very many high-rise buildings, that is) areas I live.

Requiring a continuous data connection, using A-GPS will obviously add to your 
phone bill if you do not have a flat rate data plan.
