I’m not getting that EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION error.

The thing that is strange is that with JOSM 1344 I can load a Utah County.
With JOSM 1504, I can barely load one square mile in that same county.

Since some JOSM version I also got EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005)
randomicaly, during the editing. I'm using JOSM 1504 now (same issue)

Are you experiencing the same problem ?

Note: Unfortunatelly I didn't find solutions yet....

Oggetto: [OSM-newbies] JOSM running out of memory

I’m running Windows XP pro with 3 GB ram and Java 6.0.120.4.

I’m getting an out of memory message when I run JOSM 1469 and later in the
western US (http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=37.11537
<http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=37.11537&lon=-113.55638&zoom=16&layers=B0
00FTF> &lon=-113.55638&zoom=16&layers=B000FTF) but not the
eastern(http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=39.915&lon=-75.783&zoom=11).

I’m using the –Xmx1280M option, and can’t get JOSM to start if I specify any
higher values.

I don’t have the problem with JOSM 1344, but now none of my plugins for
that version work.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
