I use BT747, which is a great Java app which will download the tracks (from any device with MTK chipset), and allow you to save them into a variety of format including OSM-compatible GPX. It will also allow you to changes the device settings, etc. http://www.bt747.org/ To use with USB connection in Windows, you do need to install drivers. I have never had a need to look this up for other operating systems. However, I usually connect to the device via Bluetooth for which no driver is required (again, in Windows).
