Hi
I recently did some hiking and recorded ways like this:

During such walks I would mark the trail intersections (or
crossroads), where signs pointing to different trails could be found.
As this is a useful map feature, I wonder how it should be tagged?
Surely you could map the location of signposts/guideposts. It's valuable
information during hiking especially for orientation:

Looks good, adding
tourism=information
information=guidepost
to the waypoints.
Thanks!

I think that information=guidepost is all that is needed, adding
tourism=information is, in my opinion, a mistake.
