These aren't isolated issues, this type of situation can be found around the world.
I have a similar issue with rural subdivisions in my area. http://osm.org/go/WPqACVQi A house in this neighborhood would have a mailing address like this: #109 Lincoln Greene, 51509 Range Road 224, Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada To add to this, the horseshoe shaped road is named Kingshott Road, and the area it is located within is the Specialized Municipality of Strathcona County, where Sherwood Park is an urban service node within the "county", but this subdivision is not within that urban service node. So, the address consists of the house number in the subdivision, the subdivision name, the street address associated with one entrance to the subdivision, the local postal office area name, province, and country. The road name and municipality are not part of the address... Current tagging has the name of the road as 51509 Range Road 224, with no mention of the name of the road (Kingshott Drive), nor the subdivision name (Lincoln Greene) What do you do with that? -- James VE6SRV _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
