A friend asked if there was a website where you could: * plot points, tracks and areas (with optional labels) on top of OSM * (optionally) import/export tracks from gpx/kml * make a permalink to the map.
I've dug through the wiki, and while Track drawing websites <http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Track_drawing_websites> is a good start, there are many sites which have ⅓ or ⅔ of these features, but not all three: * *scribble* — http://aphes.com/map/scribble — doesn't have labelling or import, and seems to be a work in early progress; * *Show your journey* — http://syj.renevier.net/ — has import/export and linking, but no labelling (and also doesn't render gpx tracks when you first load a page on Firefox); * *GPS Visualizer* — http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/draw/?type=osm&zoom=17¢er=43.649833,-79.376113 — has really nice drawing tools, exports really well, but has no linking — and worse still, appears to force Google's Terms of Use even if drawing on top of OSM tiles. Does anyone have any better suggestions, please? cheers, Stewart
