[newbies] zip problems

I'm having a tough time with my zip drive, its internal. I'm using Red 
Hat 8.0 and the drive will mount fine, but my files come up as junk. In 
Nautilus most of the files say "invalid unicode". Any ideas on how to 
fix it?

I've already changed my i18n file to use "us_en" instead of utf-8.
