It depends on the application. Many do work, while many don't. For
instance, Return to Castle Wolfenstein wouldn't load because the $#%&@
copy prevention on the CD. Starcraft OTOH, works great. It's really hit
or miss. Check out the Wine Application Database[1] for more info on a
specific app.
