Hi everyone, I am trying to get the winmodem on my Dell Inspiron 4150 to work, and the Dell Linux FAQ (http://www.whacked.net/ldl/faq/) recommends the ltmodem drivers to make the modem operational in linux. My kernel version is 2.4.18-27.8.0; however, at the ltmodem site (http://www.heby.de/ltmodem), the latest ltmodem version is ltmodem-kv_2.4.20_2.2-8.26a9-1.i686.rpm. Is this package compatible with my kernel? If not, is there another way to get my winmodem working?
