I can't get my gentoo CD to boot because of this error. The gentoo guy
told me it was because of my buggy BIOS. I belive that my BIOS is buggy.
Today the gentoo people mailed me saying that some of their recently
shipped CD's were corrupted because of some driver issues, and I found
this thread:

http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg126254.html

So is my BIOS buggy and the CD image corrupt, or is my BIOS just buggy.
How does one go about unbugging a BIOS? How can you rewrite something
that is permanently etched in silicon?

Here is my computer's actual reply in all of its terrible glory:

Loading isolinux: Disk error 80, AX=4280, drive 9F
