Ok... please scratch the below question. I don't know why, but the apt-get installation of Webmin failed completely. So, I installed it by the good old gzip/tarball and script method from the webmin site, and it worked properly. The site scared me off at first with its warning that one should use the distro-specific version if possible. I just figured that was better... Anyway, all fixed.

Ok... so I installed Webmin, configured, loved it. Then I tried installing a module (disk quota, I think) and that apparently ruined the installation component of Webmin. So, I figured I might just uninstall it and reinstall it. (Was that an excessively Windows-esque response? I'm starting to think so...) Now I can't get it to start. I go to the directories that are supposed to have the start script, and it's not there. I searched the whole drive for start, and no luck. Apparently, Debian does not have the service utility by default, so no luck using that... Has anyone used Webmin much? I'm not quite sure how to proceed with this.

By the way, how much is Webmin used in the *n*x community/industry? Many thanks--

Andrew
