If you haven't RSVP'ed yet for the event, you better do it soon. The seating is limited and they will soon be open up the event for everyone going to Brainshare. They will probably be printing up name badges for us, that's why they need everyone's names.
Event: Miguel de Icaza on Linux
(Miguel started the Gnome and Mono (.Net for Linux) projects;
he's one of the most well known Open Source leaders out there)
Date: Monday, March 22, 2004
Time: 7:00 PM (Please try to arrive by 6:45)
Place: SLC Marriott, 75 South, West Temple
*** RSVP To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
*** Make sure to give your name and say you are with the BYU UUG
A group of people (not club sponsored) will be car pooling, so don't let
a lack of transportation deter you. It also sounds like there will be
drawings for O'Reilly books and even for a few $1500 Linux certification
courses.
Take a few minutes, write this in your calendar, and e-mail in your
reservation. This is one of the biggest events the UUG has ever been
involved in.
