Here's a brief look at the next two weeks: Wednesday, June 9th (this week) is the monthly Plug meeting. Frank Sorenson will be presenting on User Mode Linux. It should be pretty cool, UML is a very interesting technology, and Frank knows a whole lot about it. check the plug site for more details: http://www.plug.org
In two weeks on the 17th we will be having a meeting on the MonTools suite (http://oss.cs.byu.edu/department/montools/) presented by the creator and lead mantanier, Clint Jones. This is the set of tools that the BYU CS SysAdmins use to keep tabs on the machines and network, and invaluble tool. So if you're interested to see how we do it in the CS Dept, or just want to see if it would help you out, stop on by at 7:30pm in the usual place. Finally Saturday the 19th is the Plug/UUG swap meet. This will be a great time to get together, talk about geeky stuff, and have a great time. It'll be from 4-9pm at the Center park in Orem (map will be forth coming). Not only is it a great chance to empty out your closets and possibly get some cool stuff, but some good eats will be involved. Just so everyone knows, this _is_ an event you can bring your wife and family to (if you fall in that category) there will be events for both kids and adults. So mark your calendars, set aside some time, and get ready for the fun during the break between spring and summer terms! More details will be on the plug site soon. -- Scott Paul Robertson http://students.cs.byu.edu/~spr/ GnuPG FingerPrint: 09ab 64b5 edc0 903e 93ce edb9 3bcc f8fb dc5d 7601
