Everything I read says that mailman should work with postfix no problems (even "right out of the box")... But it isn't working for me.

Perhaps it is because I am on the BYU network that I am having this problem.

Here is what works:

Mailman will send out confirmation emails and ppl can subscribe to the lists.

Here is what doesn't work:

If a member of the list sends an email to <list-name>@<hostname>.byu.edu nothing happens.

I've added the appropriate aliases in /etc/aliases and then typed "newaliases" after that. I've even rebooted the machine a couple of times. But still no luck.

Any ideas to help me troubleshoot/fix the problem? Any ideas on what the problem is?

Thanks!

PS if I send mail to <login-name>@<hostname>.byu.edu it doesn't work either... that might be a clue as to why this isn't working...
