We will also have a booth this week. Wednesday, the booth will be in

form for manning the booth will be available shortly. Michael will

for map of campus)
WHEN: Saturday September 10. We will accept computers from 10:00
am til 1:30 pm
WHY: Because Linux is Cool!

Important Info For Installees (People Who Want Linux Installed)
* BACKUP! We are not responsible for any data loss that could occur
during this process.
* Bring: Computer. If possible, bring monitor, keyboard, mouse. A
small number of monitors, keyboards and mice will be available, but it
is much easier if you can bring your own.
* You must stay for the install process! This is not something where
you can drop off your computer, then come back in a few hours and pick
it up with everything done for you. Your input will be needed at some
steps, and installers will not work on your computer when you are not
present.
* Be ready to learn! Ask the installers questions while they do the
install. Find out what they like and dislike about Linux. Get them
to show you how to use the programs that you're interested in.

Important Info For Installers
* Bring: Power-strips, extension cords, etc. monitor, keyboard, mouse
if possible.
* Friends: Anyone you know who's interested in Linux is welcome.
* Don't be afraid that you don't know enough. We have people of all
experience-levels at installfests --- This is a great way to learn!
