It sounds like your ndiswrapper might be installed somewhere that
isn't in your path variable.  You might need to included the path to
where you installed it, like so:
/path/to/ndiswrapper/ndiswrapper -i bcmwl5.inf

that might have to do with the fact that the system isn't able to
locate where you installed ndiswrapper.  I'm not sure about this, and
as I've never used ndiswrapper, you may want to make sure and find out
from someone a little more authoritative than me.
