I'm sure it won't be that hard to fix.  Can you try to get/supply the
information below?

1 - The location where you installed the Sun Java SDK
2 - The contents of your path variable (eg. type "echo $PATH" at the
command line)
3 - The path to the javac you execute by default (type "which javac" at
the command line)

If you could get this, I think it'd be a pretty simple thing to get fixed.
