Oh, and as for the ipod, good luck.  gtkpod is the standard, but
frankly, I hate it.  It's really really slow and annoying.  Amarok
works well, except I can't figure out how to transfer playlists to the
ipod.  I couldn't figure out how to get rhythmbox to work with my ipod
at all.  I think the icons are there but the feature isn't yet, or
something.

I got sick of messing with my ipod and linux so I actually installed
itunes on my windoze box.  I ended up hating it more than any of the
linux media players.  Go figure.
