I am not positive about this, but I believe that if you use Virtual Hosts at all, then apache will default to using the first VirtualHost section for a domain name that doesn't match any other VirtualHost sections. So instead of using the settings that are specified outside of any VirtualHost section, it will use the settings specified inside the first VirtualHost section. I hope that made sense. Anyways, it is probably safest if you have a VirtualHost section for both froghunters.org and froghunters.net.
