The best place is the man(ual) pages.  From a command prompt, type "man 
qmp3join" (or the name of the command you want to learn) and it should 
bring up the man page using less (use pgup/pgdown for navigation, q to 
quit).

Also, notice one of the most standard options: "-h" or "--help".  In 99% 
of the commands, that will show you what the options are and how to use 
them.  Mileage varies, since some developers are really lazy in what 
goes into the -h command.
