I hope everyone had a great break and isn't too swamped yet with the new semester..
Our upcoming meeting (which Dave Smith has hinted at previously) is going to be awesome! Byron Clark of AST will be presenting on Linux for embedded systems: Linux runs on all kinds of processors and platforms. Chances are that you have at least one device in your house (other than a PC) that will run Linux. This meeting is all about how to build a basic Linux image and toolchain for your platform of choice. Focus will be on using buildroot, uclibc, and busybox for a PowerPC platform. AST will also be providing pizza, as Dave mentioned earlier. We'll be meeting at 7:30 in room 240 of the Crabtree. Note that this is one floor below the usual room. If you're looking for some extra help with your computer or want to talk about random geeky stuff, come just after 7. -peter -------------------- BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ The opinions expressed in this message are the responsibility of their author.
