I had no problems compiling it and loading it in php, here is what I did: "tar zxf newpki-php-1.3.0-0.tar.gz" "cd newpki-php-1.3.0/php_ext/sublib/" "./Configure" "make" "cd .." "phpize" "./configure" "make" "cp modules/newpki.so /usr/lib/php4/"
Modify "/etc/php.ini" to activate the module. restart apache, everything should be fine.

I've tried to install newpki-php in 3 ways:
- using rpm : undefined symbol= _ZdlPv
- using srpm : undefined symbol= _ZTVN10__cxxabiv121__vmi_class_type_infoE
- using sources, with or without option LDFLAGS=-lstdc++ : undefined symbol= _ZTI13PKI_HashTable
